Crossing of 143 vessels the SC of tonnages 10.5 million ton

  Vice admiral/ Mohab Mameesh, head of Suez Canal authority  said that navigational traffic at the Canal has witnessed passage of 143 vessels of tonnages 10.5 million ton. Mameesh has assured in Press statements that navigational traffic at the Canal has recorded a score which is considered an important indicator that reflects improvement of international trade traffic and development in maritime transport industry and international shipyards trends for the industry of giant vessels of big drafts.  This is what  the Canal administration has got ready for, beforehand, through the implementation of new Suez Canal project. This in addition to following attractive marketing policies to encourage grand navigational lines to use the Canal instead of other old alternatives

 Navigational reports issued from the authority have revealed that 48 vessels have crossed on Friday of tonnage 3.2 million ton, Saturday 53 vessel of tonnage 4.3 million ton and Sunday 44 vessels have crossed, so that total crossing vessels during three days only was 143 vessel of tonnages 10.5 million ton.
